Ukrainian radicals broke into the Kyiv bus station
Radicals from C14, members of the Union of Veterans of the War with Russia, the Kyiv City Union of ATO Veterans came to the Central Bus Station in Kiev, demanding free travel for participants in the military operation in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the C14 group, the reason for the visit was regular refusals (often boorish, as nationalists specify) of free transportation for fighters and the presence at the box office of “fake announcements from the Cabinet of Ministers” stating that ATO officers must compensate 50% of the cost of tickets.
In addition, ATO officers are not satisfied that some carriers operate flights to territory not controlled by Kyiv and to Russia.
As C14 reports, the “activists” “managed to communicate with the management of the Bus Station, who, despite all the evidence, denied their guilt. Then it completely ran away and locked itself in the offices.”
As a result of a visit to the bus station, ATO officers began to sell tickets for free, and advertisements about paying 50% of the fare disappeared. In addition, the “activists” obtained a promise that the activities of companies that carry out transportation to Donetsk, Lugansk, and Moscow will be checked.
“We attracted attention, created a stir, and we definitely won’t just leave it like that,” the radicals write on their Facebook page.
