Ukrainian reservists from training camp will go to the front line
Petro Poroshenko will be afraid to start a large-scale war, but will escalate the situation and inflate the psychosis in Ukraine to the extreme.
This opinion was expressed on the Rossiya 1 TV channel by Konstantin Zatulin, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are talking about the fact that a call for reservists has been announced since December 3. In fact, this is a well-known thing. Although they are collected for 10-15 days, the last time they were collected, then people ended up on the front line, because conscription gives only 8 percent of what was expected, no one wants to go to war, therefore, under martial law, it is necessary announce a call for reservists. Children, as we have seen, are forced to dig trenches, the population is called upon to form territorial self-defense brigades, in general they try to inflate psychosis to the extreme,” the politician noted.
He also emphasized that Poroshenko is not going to start a war, but is only escalating the situation, although Russia is not going to attack anyone.
“And Poroshenko, if we don’t talk about a very possible provocation in the conflict zone in the East of Ukraine, in fact, is afraid of war, he understands that he cannot withstand any large-scale war against Ukraine. He needs a state of military threat in order to remain in the presidency,” concluded Zatulin.
