Aircraft of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine will conduct aerial reconnaissance and patrol of mountainous areas in Israel.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“As of 13:00 on November 27, the flight crew of the State Emergency Service took part in a meeting of the operational headquarters with the participation of representatives of the Republic of Israel, during which they determined the tasks and directions for carrying out the tasks as intended. At 14:30, State Emergency Situations aircraft will begin aerial reconnaissance and patrolling of mountainous areas,” the statement said.
The State Emergency Service noted that aircraft continue to extinguish forest fires in Israel.
Let us remind you that Ukraine sent two State Emergency Situations AN-32P aircraft to Israel on November 25 to help eliminate fires. On November 26, they made their first flight to extinguish fires. Also yesterday, Ukrainian planes dropped 32 tons of water to extinguish fires in mountainous areas near the Israeli city of Haifa.
