Ukrainian miners “knock out” their wages by blocking roads
In Ukraine, miners from the Buzhanskaya and No. 9 mines (SE Volynugol) staged a protest in the form of blocking the road. Formally, without violating the law or traffic rules, the protesters walked back and forth across the pedestrian crossing without interruption, thus creating a traffic jam.

About it said the head of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine, Mikhail Volynets, published photos and videos from the protest.
“The reason is banal – non-payment of wages and robbery of mines through the efforts of the “overlookers.” At the Volynugol mine, under pressure from the miners who had been on strike during the previous week, the leadership of the ministry was able to pay wages only for July and only to the underground categories of workers! Even for July, wages to employees of the non-industrial group have not been paid in full, and sick leave has not been paid even for the previous month!” - Volynets is indignant on his page on the social network.
