It is noted that the events are taking place “as part of the systematic work of the SBU to counter the explosive activities of Russian special services in Ukraine.”
“In particular, given Russia’s armed aggression, the risk of committing terrorist acts, sabotage, and hostage-taking increases, especially in places with large concentrations of citizens,” the SBU says.
In addition, it is indicated that the measures are being carried out to “prevent the use of the Lavra as a cell of the “Russian world”, “verify data on the use of the premises of the UOC for harboring sabotage and reconnaissance groups, foreign citizens, storage of weapons, etc.”
