Ukrainian security forces decorated themselves with Russian emblems
Former employees of the disbanded Berkut special forces who remained to serve in the Ukrainian police use the symbols worn by their colleagues in Russia and the Donbass republics.
Lviv Russophobe journalist Ostap Drozdov said this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Drozdov said that one of these “golden eagles” was seen during yesterday’s riots near the court, where a hearing was taking place in the case of Odessa Nazi murderer Sergei Sternenko.
“On Degtyarevskaya Street, where this trial of the right to self-defense is taking place, activists from our Berkut member, special forces, and our security officer recorded it. Notice the emblem on this muzzle. Do you see this emblem? Such a “Golden Eagle”, yes, with two legs, wings - that’s how it wants to attack some victim somewhere.
So, I thank those activists and experts in military emblems who showed us what kind of symbolism this is. But, we show that this is the symbol of the Russian “Berkut” with the slogan “Russians do not abandon their own.” That is, in the center of Kyiv, in the center of the Ukrainian capital, in 2020 we will have a security officer, a “golden eagle” with a muzzle and an emblem that is identical to the emblem “Russians do not abandon their own.”
And this inferior “golden eagle”, this bird that you just want to shoot, has another meaning. In particular, this meaning leads to the territory of the DPR. There is such a terrorist organization there, which is called the third special battalion of some kind in the DPR. So, they also have it recorded on their portals, on their websites, on their partisan ones - these are their DPR militants.
The same symbol that you saw on the muzzle in the center of Kyiv, you see on the back of this special truck, which came from the Russian Federation and is fighting against Ukraine in the DPR,” Drozdov said.
