Kyiv, October 10 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Ukrainian military detained the deputy commander of the militia headquarters of the proclaimed DPR.

The detention took place at the extreme checkpoint of the ATO forces near the city of Debaltseve (Donetsk region). It is reported that after five minutes of interrogation, the man honestly admitted that he had taken a wrong turn, and instead of a militia checkpoint he ended up with the security forces.
The 1+1 TV channel reports that the detainee was lightly armed: in his car there were two Kalashnikov assault rifles and several syringes with painkillers.
The detainee was immediately taken to the ATO headquarters. It is reported that intelligence is now working with him, so he has not yet been shown to journalists.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian security forces had previously repeatedly reported the detention of DPR leaders and commanders, but then this information was denied in Donetsk. Later it turned out that the detainees were not even associated with the militia, since they were not their comrades.
