Ukrainian snipers continue to shell Donbass
Despite the ceasefire agreements, Ukrainian snipers in Donbass continue to fire at the young republics.

“Despite the additional measures taken by the Ukrainian side to strengthen and control the current indefinite ceasefire, militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to destabilize the situation on the contact line.
For the second time since the beginning of additional measures, the uncontrollable punitive forces of the UFU cynically shelled the territory of our republic using sniper weapons.
Militants of the Marine Corps battalion of the 36th Marine Brigade committed a fire provocation, firing two shots from sniper weapons in the direction of the village of Dzerzhinskoye. As a result of this provocation, the defender of the republic was injured,” the message says.
The department emphasized that the wounded man was taken to the hospital and is now under the supervision of doctors.
“These facts were promptly communicated to representatives of the Ukrainian side in the JCCC to conduct an investigation and inform the OSCE coordinator in the contact group about the measures taken to punish the Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel who committed a targeted attack using sniper weapons.
Materials on the fact of the shelling were transferred to representatives of international organizations located in the Republic, as well as to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for inclusion in criminal cases initiated against the commander of the 36th brigade of the VFU Gnatov and his subordinates,” the press service added.
