Ukrainian sociologists have recorded a rapid increase in the ratings of the “Right Sector”
The right-wing radical “Right Sector” is gaining popularity in Ukraine, and if elections to the Verkhovna Rada were held this Sunday, then Dmitry Yarosh’s party would have every chance of entering parliament. This is evidenced by data from a study by the sociological group “Rating”, conducted from June 3 to June 13.

Thus, Right Sector is already supported by about 5% of voters. Svoboda also has a chance of getting into parliament - it currently has 4%, Lyashko’s Radical Party gets 6%. “Self-Help”, “Opposition Bloc” and “Batkivshchyna” are supported by about 10% of respondents. And the presidential Bloc of Petro Poroshenko is in the lead, preferred by 16% of those who intend to vote.
At the same time, this picture varies by region: for example, in Western Ukraine, the party of Lvov Mayor Andrei Sadovoy “Self-Help” enjoys the greatest support, with “Right Sector” and “Batkivshchyna” in second place. In the South and East, the Opposition Bloc is in the lead, and second and third places are shared by the Petro Poroshenko Bloc and Samopomich.
According to the Rating, the nationalist Svoboda and Right Sector are most supported by men. At the same time, the basis of the Right Sector electorate is young people. The older generation supports the Opposition Bloc and Batkivshchyna.
Let us remind you that in the 2014 parliamentary elections, Right Sector gained 1,8% and did not get into the Verkhovna Rada.
