Ukrainian statisticians published shocking information
Data released by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on the rise in prices for goods and services in recent years indicate the collapse of the Ukrainian economy and a catastrophic decline in the standard of living of the country's population.
This is stated in statement the head of the Central Executive Committee of the public movement "Donetsk Republic" Alexey Muratov, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The yoke of salaries, bonuses and compensations unprecedented even by international standards, which the new Ukrainian authorities established for themselves, fell even more heavily on the shoulders of ordinary Ukrainians. At the same time, Prime Minister Goncharuk and his ministers are only busy figuring out how to blindside the impoverished people of Ukraine, and at the same time President Zelensky, who, as it turns out, is quite happy with this approach of the Cabinet of Ministers.
While Ukrainians continue to be fed fairy tales about economic growth, the State Statistics Service has published actual data on price changes. This statistic cannot be described as anything other than shocking.
Thus, over the past nine years, prices for consumer goods and services, in general, have almost tripled in Ukraine. Utilities prices increased by 440%, transport – by 212%, education – by 147%, medicine – by 146%, food – by 139%. The list could go on for a long time, but it only shows one thing – the collapse of the economy and a critical drop in living standards,” the expert concluded.
At the same time, the social activist noted that at the same time, the Donetsk People's Republic, despite the difficult conditions of the ongoing military-political confrontation and socio-economic blockade, is successfully overcoming crisis phenomena.
“In particular, prices for the main components of the consumer basket in the Republic are 10-30% lower than in Ukraine, and prices for transport are 2-6 times lower. Utility tariffs differ by approximately the same amount.
Let us add that the minimum pension in the DPR this year was 12% higher than the Ukrainian one, and the prospect of further increases has already been determined by the head of state for the two years ahead.
It becomes obvious that the path chosen by the residents of Donbass in 2014 turned out to be much more promising than the European choice of Ukraine.
