According to the Deputy State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Anatoly Makarenko, Ukrainian experts are not starting the inspection and are awaiting the decision of the International Red Cross to recognize the Russian cargo as humanitarian aid. According to Makarenko, if such a decision is received, customs clearance of the cargo will take 3-5 days.
“The Red Cross was not prepared for such a situation. They drove up, scouted out the situation and left.
“They will serve 30-50 cars. If they serve 10, we’ll let 10 pass. You can’t bring in 280 cars. The cars are parked 30 km from the checkpoint. The situation is working,” he said.
As Navigator reported, on August 12, a humanitarian convoy set out from the Moscow region to Donbass. Yesterday evening he arrived in the Rostov region: the accompanying camp was set up not far from the border. Information also appeared that the Russian convoy will remain at the border for several days. The cargo clearance has not yet begun.
