“When our military came under massive artillery fire, they simply abandoned their equipment,” the expert said. – Last year I was in Marinka, there was the 1st Tank Brigade. It got to the point of absurdity: in the brigade there are “Oplots”, “Bulats”. But when our tankers were covered by Grads, no matter how regrettable it was, they were forced to abandon modern tanks, since they did not even have fuel. In particular, I delivered high-pressure fuel pumps there for them. The tanks were delivered after repairs. Unfortunately, out of ten, five tanks simply could not be started to take part in hostilities.”
“There have been cases when tankers were forced to blow up their equipment and retreat to other positions,” Ivanchuk added.
