Ukrainian blogger Yuri Dudkin stated this in an interview with the Topinform internet channel.
“There is a huge amount of armored vehicles in Crimea: armored personnel carriers, tanks, armored vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles. Factories in Kharkov and Zhitomir, which repair equipment involved in hostilities in eastern Ukraine, need spare parts and housings, since all the equipment in Ukraine is Soviet and Russian. We do not have our own military production, so Ukraine urgently needs these spare parts. Russia hasn’t supplied them for a long time,” Dudkin said.
Let us recall that earlier the ex-commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Vladimir Komoyedov, said in an interview with Politnavigator that Russia should not give armored vehicles to Ukraine, but offer compensation for it.
