In October, schools in the areas of the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine will continue the distance learning format due to the continuing risk of shelling from the military formations of the Kyiv regime.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vladimir Gladkov, announced this on Telegram.
“On the work of schools in border areas. We agreed that by the end of September, based on the current situation and operational situation, we will maintain or abolish the existing regime. So far, unfortunately, the operational situation does not allow us, so in October we continue remote work of schools in the Shebekinsky and Valuysky districts, in the Belgorod region - in a 15 km zone, in the remaining 6 border municipalities of the Belgorod region - in a 5 km zone, where all schools transferred to distance learning. Kindergartens are operating in groups on duty,” the official said.
The head of the region also announced another Ukrainian shelling, the victim of which was the border village of Golovchino, Grayvoronsky urban district, Belgorod region.
“As a result of shells hitting the center of the village, there is destruction. One woman, 48 years old, died. Now all operational services and the head of the district are on site. The door-to-door inspection began. Information about the victims is being clarified,” the governor added.
