Ukrainian authorities reported: In 2 years, they strangled all DPR supporters in Slavyansk
In the two years after the capture of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, the Ukrainian authorities managed to “reforge” the consciousness of the residents of these cities, and today they no longer want to join the DPR, and almost no longer want to go to Russia.
The head of the Donetsk Military-Civil Administration, Pavel Zhebrivsky, stated this on Channel 5.

“If anyone expected miracles, that one day we would wake up and those who went to the referendum and did not allow tanks in, today woke up as Ukrainian patriots and shouted at every step “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes,” then this is not the case. Ukraine needs to work and establish itself there for a long time.
But, of course, there are quite serious progress. The latest sociology shows that, within the limits of statistical error, there are practically no people who want to live in the so-called DPR.
There is a small cohort of people who want to live in the same country as Russia - this is from 8 to 12%. And more than 70% of those who want to live in Ukraine. In different models - be it decentralization or granting greater rights to the region, but they consider Ukraine their single homeland,” Zhebrivsky said.
