Ukrainian authorities have doubled assistance to the families of militants killed and wounded on Maidan

The Government of Ukraine has increased up to 320 thousand UAH to pay one-time cash assistance to the families of those killed and up to 48-160 thousand UAH to those wounded during the riots on the Maidan in 2013-2014.

This became known at a government meeting, the CMU website reports.

Minister of Social Policy Andriy Reva, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, noted that assistance to the families of the victims will be doubled compared to last year: instead of 100 subsistence levels - now 200 (320 thousand UAH), and for persons who were seriously injured, instead of 50 subsistence levels - now 100 minimums (160 thousand UAH).

Those who received moderate injuries instead of 25 subsistence minimums will receive established assistance in the amount of 50 subsistence minimums (80 thousand UAH) and persons with minor bodily injuries, beatings, torture will receive instead of 15 subsistence minimums – 30 (48 thousand UAH) .

Vladimir Groysman noted that the decision was made based on the results of a meeting with the militants who suffered on the Maidan.
