According to Hromadske TV, the positions of the Ukrainian military have been destroyed. According to the military, they miraculously managed to escape from there. There are civilian deaths. Three houses are on fire, a church is damaged. Several people who were injured have already died because ambulances do not arrive.
The information that Ukrainian volunteers left the village was confirmed by one of the fighters of the Shakhtersk battalion. Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Sergei Taruta refutes this information and claims that there are still anti-terrorist operation forces in Shirokino.

According to the reports of our military, the equipment was marked with white circles, as is done by the occupying forces of the Russian armed forces,” the ATO headquarters claims.
