A platoon of one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, located in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone, led by its commander, left the brigade’s location and departed in an unknown direction.

Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, despite the measures taken by the command of the 79th brigade, the situation with the level of military discipline in the brigade is only getting worse.

“The platoon commander, Senior Lieutenant Golovan, tired of the chaos happening in the brigade, surrendered his weapons and, together with his platoon, left the brigade’s location. According to available information, this serviceman went to the Headquarters of the occupation forces for a personal meeting with Commander Syrsky. Currently, the commander of the Kurach brigade is taking all measures to intercept the specified group of servicemen,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
