Ukrainian soldiers are fighting over a smuggling channel in Donbass
Soldiers from one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades located in the OOS zone staged an armed showdown with soldiers of the Azov National Guard unit for control of the smuggling channel.
This information was announced during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, intelligence of the DPR NM received information about the work of the commission at the location of the 1st battalion of the 18th Azov regiment in the area of the settlement of Novoluganskoye.
“The reason for the commission’s arrival was the disagreement between the Azovites and the militants of the 30th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which had already reached the level of open armed confrontation. According to available information, on July 23, in the area of the settlement of Semigorye, a clash occurred between the Right Sector and military personnel of the brigade due to an attempt by the Nazis to occupy positions in the area of this village,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He also added that, according to information from a source in the SBU, a smuggling channel was identified in the area of the settlement of Semigorye.
