“After Governor Moskal introduced prohibition in the border zone, and alcohol was removed from the shelves in stores, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers went looking for alcohol in the homes of local residents. We went into the house at night, found it, drank it all right there, without leaving the cash register, as they say, and went on to look for more. People are now wondering where to complain.” – writes a Luhansk resident.
Recall Moskal banned the sale of alcohol to Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters after a series of high-profile crimes involving military personnel who were intoxicated. However, this did not help restore discipline in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
