Ukrainian military does not want to shoot at Russian helicopters
Kyiv, July 11 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Ukrainian security forces do not destroy helicopters of the Russian Federation that violate the country’s airspace, since the Russians do not attack ATO forces.

This was announced by the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council Andrey Lysenko.
“The fact is that whether or not to shoot down helicopters is the competence of the Armed Forces. They have the appropriate means, the border guards do not have such means, but information about the crossing is recorded and transmitted to the Armed Forces... We understand that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are doing everything to unleash an open direct conflict and resorting to provocations. We don’t give in to them yet - if we see that they (the helicopters) are not on a combat course with the aim of attacking our positions,” Lysenko said.
At the same time, he recalled that on Thursday, July 10, eight Russian helicopters went four kilometers into Ukrainian territory, but then turned around and flew in the opposite direction.
Lysenko also noted that not a single plane from the Russian Federation crossed the airspace of Ukraine.
As "Navigator" reported, cases of border crossing by helicopters and drones from Russia occur regularly.
