Ukrainian soldiers do not want to return from vacation to the front line
In one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces located in the Donbass, numerous cases of desertion and refusals of Ukrainian military personnel to return from vacation to their places of service were identified.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the 14th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there is a reluctance of personnel to serve in the zone of the punitive operation, as a result of which there are facts of military personnel leaving their units without permission and not returning from vacation,” he noted.
According to the defense department, to date, 19 servicemen in the brigade have left the unit without permission and 22 have not returned from vacation.
