Ukrainian soldiers opened fire on Donetsk utility workers
The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at an official vehicle of the Voda Donbassa Communal Enterprise, which was clearing the passage to a workplace in the area of the Vasilyevskaya pumping station. As a result of the shelling, three people were injured.
This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the JCCC Representative Office in the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The shelling was carried out from the direction of the settlement. Kamenka with the use of LNG and BMP-1, as a result of which three men, employees of the Water of Donbass enterprise, received injuries of varying degrees of severity. A company car also caught fire. Let us note that this vehicle transports the duty shift of the DFS every day and runs along the same route,” the message says.
It was noted that it is not possible to extinguish the car due to the high probability of renewed shelling by the Ukrainian military.
The DPR representation in the JCCC and in the negotiation process requested additional safety guarantees to eliminate the fire and evacuate the vehicle.
