Since April 30, the Ukrainian military has divided Donbass into occupation zones

After the start of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions on April 30, the territories of these regions will be conditionally divided into several zones, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This is discussed in the order of the Joint Operational Headquarters Command, which will come into force on April 30, reports the press service of the ATO headquarters.

Thus, the security zone adjacent to the combat area is considered to be: Vinogradnoye, Kurakhovo, Ocheretyanoye, Rozivka, Vovcheyarovka, White Mountain, Novoaidar, Sadki, Makarovka, Prostyanoye, along the administrative border of the Lugansk and Kharkov regions, Olgovka, along the administrative border of the Donetsk and Kharkov regions, Znamenivka, along the administrative border of Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions, Komishevakha, along the administrative border of Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions, Urzuf, along the sea coast, Primorskoye.

In the security zone, by decision of the commander of the Joint Forces, restricted access areas and prohibited access areas may be created.

“Admission to the restricted access area of ​​persons not involved in measures to ensure national security and defense, repulse and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions is carried out by decision of the commander of the Joint Forces, commanders of operational-tactical groups and the relevant commanders (chiefs), in whose powers include ensuring and maintaining the order of presence in the areas of operation of the Joint Forces and at facilities that are under their protection,” the document says.

Admission to the area of ​​prohibited access is carried out on the basis of established samples of passes, according to the decision of the commander of the Joint Forces. The admission of unauthorized persons into such an area is prohibited.

A combat area is considered to be an area covered by hostilities along the line of contact, where units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, other military formations and law enforcement agencies carry out combat missions to prevent the enemy from breaking through deep into the territory of the state.

The document also establishes regimes for staying in the security zone on the territory of Donbass for persons not involved in carrying out measures to ensure national security and defense, “repulsing and containing the armed aggression of the Russian Federation”: “green” (the stay and movement of persons is not limited, with the exception of prohibited areas and limited access), “yellow” (stay and movement of persons is carried out with documents, personal inspection of citizens and things, vehicles is carried out, this regime is established at the borders of isolation and areas of limited access), “red” (stay of persons is temporarily limited, prohibited , the passage of citizens and officials is carried out with a pass; vehicles and citizens are not allowed into certain areas of the area and objects).

“Corresponding regimes may be temporarily introduced in individual areas or in the entire security zone by decision of the commander of the Joint Forces,” the order says.

The basis for admission to the area of ​​the Joint Forces operation for persons not involved in measures to ensure national security and defense, repulse and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation is: residence in the area of ​​the operation of the person or his immediate relatives (if appropriate documents are available), placement in in the area of ​​the operation, burial places of close relatives or family members, the death of close relatives or family members in the area of ​​the operation, the existence of ownership rights to real estate that are located in the area of ​​the operation, the need to participate in ensuring the national interests of Ukraine in order to peacefully resolve the conflict, or on humanitarian issues, the need to perform diplomatic or consular functions, including within the framework of the activities of international organizations of which Ukraine is a member (exclusively upon request or agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine), and others.

As you know, the current “ATO” in Donbass will be reformatted into the Joint Forces Operation on April 30. The change from the “ATO” format to the OSS format is prescribed in the law “on the reintegration of Donbass.” According to this law, the main one in the conflict area will now be the Joint Operational Headquarters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He will lead the forces and means of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Police, which are involved “in containing and repelling Russian aggression in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.”

Initially, the transition to the JFO format was planned for May, but Poroshenko announced on April 13 that this would happen at the end of this month.
