The Ukrainian military is going to completely block the work of the OSCE in Donbass
The Armed Forces of Ukraine intend in the near future to use new electronic warfare systems to block the operation of the Mission’s UAVs in the Joint Forces Operation zone, and thus completely stop monitoring by OSCE representatives of the situation on the contact line on the Ukrainian side.
This information was announced today during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DRN, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, the Ukrainian side, despite the loyal attitude of the OSCE SMM representatives towards it, does not stop trying to counteract their fulfillment of their duties in the JFO area.
“Intelligence of the DPR NM continues to record the operation of jamming stations from the 305th and 20th electronic warfare battalions along the entire line of contact. In recent days, the operation of systems for blocking UAV control signals has been noted in the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Stepanovka, Novopokrovsk and Ivanopolye. Enclave electronic warfare systems are used to interfere with UAVs,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
According to him, there is an agreement between the high command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrspetstekhnika holding, according to which the military reports on the progress of the operation of the Enclave complex in field conditions in the JFO area, and OSCE SMM drones are used as targets for testing the complex, which has been repeatedly confirmed by official reports of the Mission.
“In the near future, the 35th and 36th Marine Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive Bukovel-AD electronic warfare systems. Thus, the Ukrainian side will completely block the operation of the OSCE SMM UAVs over the controlled territory in the Mariupol direction, which will allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to continue to concentrate their units and weapons and equipment prohibited by the Minsk agreements with impunity,” added the representative of the defense department.
