Ukrainian soldiers staged a massacre over the date of Christmas
In the “JFO” zone, servicemen from one of the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, having argued about the date of the Christmas celebration, started a mass fight.

“UAF units in the punitive operation zone continue to suffer non-combat losses. Ukrainian nationalism still remains the main reason for the split in Ukrainian society in all spheres of life and especially in the army.
So, yesterday in the 4th company of the 2nd air assault battalion of the 80th separate air assault brigade of the Ukrainian Federal Army, a mass fight occurred, as a result of which six people received injuries of varying degrees of severity. According to preliminary information from servicemen of the brigade, the cause of the conflict was the negative reaction of nationalist militants of the brigade to the initiative of individual servicemen to celebrate the Nativity of Christ.
People from the western regions of Ukraine, who make up the majority in the 80th brigade, said that the celebration of the Nativity of Christ on January 7 is a legacy of the Moscow occupation, and the entire “civilized world” celebrates the holy holiday on December 25. As one would expect, the Orthodox military personnel did not agree with the arguments of the “Westerners.”
Realizing their numerical advantage, the nationalists quickly turned a short emotional discussion into a scuffle, trying to prove their case with brute force,” Osadchiy said.
He emphasized that this is far from an isolated incident on religious grounds that occurred in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Another Bandera fan, the commander of the 3rd company of the 1st air assault battalion of the 80th brigade, Captain Bogdanyuk, forbade his subordinates from celebrating the Nativity of Christ, citing the fact that they already celebrated Christmas on December 25th. Taking the commander’s instructions as a personal insult and infringement of their rights, eight militants left the unit without permission, and their location has been unknown for XNUMX hours.
Information about the incident was conveyed to the brigade commander Shvorak, and a search for the fugitives is currently underway. Shvorak is trying to hide the fact of leaving the unit without permission and does not report what happened to higher headquarters,” the officer added.
