Ukrainian soldiers set off deadly fireworks in Luhansk region
One Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman was killed and two more were injured as a result of careless handling of explosive devices and small arms.
This was announced by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On January 1, in a unit of the 54th separate mechanized brigade, while carrying out work to install mine-explosive barriers in the area of the Novotoshkovskoye settlement, one serviceman received a mine-explosive injury incompatible with life. The injury was sustained as a result of violations of safety measures during this type of work,” said Andrey Marochko.
He also added that two more servicemen of the same brigade received moderate injuries in the area of the village of Zolote-4 as a result of careless handling of weapons.
“The OOS command is trying to present cases of non-combat losses in units as a result of alleged shelling by the People’s Militia,” concluded the official representative of the LPR NM.
Let us remind you that earlier the People's Militia of the DPR reported that Ukrainian soldiers tried to enter the territory of the Republic in order to seize the positions of the army of the Republic, however found ourselves in our own minefield.
