Ukrainian military took control of Seversk, – Poroshenko
Donetsk, July 10 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Ukrainian military planted the state flag over the city council in Seversk.

“Minister of Defense Geletey reported that as a result of the military operation, the National Flag was raised over the Seversk City Council and the Chervonopartizansk checkpoint was taken under the control of the Armed Forces,” Petro Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page.
As Navigator reported, earlier DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov said that the militia left Seversk to avoid being surrounded. According to him, the militias are ready to defend Donetsk and prevent it from being encircled by Ukrainian security forces.
