“The Ukrainian side has identified a number of checkpoints that provide for the passage of citizens and the passage of cargo. Stanitsa-Luganskaya is the only cargo crossing point in the LPR provided by the Ukrainian side.
And at the moment when, during a video conference of representatives of the Minsk Contact Group, the issue of passing cargo through this checkpoint into the territory of the LPR of European humanitarian aid was discussed, as well as, as Ukraine especially insists on, Ukrainian humanitarian convoys intended for social institutions, I received information from the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Ceasefire Issues and Stabilization of the Demarcation Line that a full-scale battle is taking place at the moment, an attempt is being made for an armed breakthrough of Ukrainian security forces into Lugansk from Stanitsa-Luganska.
I immediately announced this information to all participants in the video conference, but I did not see an adequate reaction to my statement from representatives of the Ukrainian side,” Vladislav Deinego said after the end of the video conference of the Minsk Contact Group.
He also focused on the fact that, in addition to the fighting in Stanytsia-Luganskaya, there is an accumulation of Ukrainian military equipment in the area of the city of Shchastya, a checkpoint for citizens.
In his opinion, this indicates an attempt “to convince civilians of the extreme danger of crossing the demarcation line.”
