This was announced by Deputy Head of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council Vladimir Polevoy.
“In the areas of main attacks by separatist and Russian troops, Ukrainian troops are switching to active defense,” he claims.
Such tactics, according to Polevoy, means that “we can move away from occupied positions, deliver a fire strike, a flank strike, a flank strike, recapture these positions, go behind enemy lines as part of our sabotage and reconnaissance groups.” He emphasized that the situation along the entire front of the confrontation is under the control of the military leadership and the leadership of the state.
