Ukrainian troops, on the orders of Turchynov, went on the offensive near Mariupol
Ukrainian troops, on the unspoken order of Security Council Secretary Alexander Turchynov, in violation of the Minsk agreements, are seizing the so-called “gray zone” near Mariupol, moving 6 kilometers forward in some areas.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Mishin spoke about this, citing conversations with ATO participants and residents of Mariupol, at a round table in Kyiv.

“Today we continue to lose people every day. As a former military man who constantly communicates with representatives of volunteer battalions, since April, when Turchinov arrived there, advancement into the “gray zone” of our DRGs began. Many platoon strongholds have already moved 6 km forward. And people are dying around them,” he said.
Mishin believes that the population of Ukraine should be interested in an early cessation of hostilities.
“The longer the conflict lasts, the more the population suffers and becomes impoverished. About 3 million people have now lost their jobs as a result,” the expert recalled.
