Ukrainian troops went to break through the positions of the DPR
Contrary to the agreement reached at the negotiations in Minsk on the “grain truce” (ceasefire during the harvest), Ukrainian troops today went to break through the positions of the DPR army.

“After a powerful artillery barrage with the use of 122- and 152-mm shells in the area of the village of Vasilyevka, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at 16.30 went on the attack with up to two squads, supported by 2 tanks, 2 infantry fighting vehicles and 1 armored personnel carrier, trying to capture the DPR positions.
DPR Armed Forces units were forced to open fire to kill. The enemy attack was repulsed. As a result of an attempt to capture our positions, the enemy lost 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 1 armored personnel carrier and up to 5 people killed. Abandoning the killed and wounded servicemen, the enemy fled from the battlefield,” the report says.
In addition, despite the declared truce, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an artillery strike on the village of Staromikhailovka, killing a civilian born in 1960. The shelling was allegedly carried out from Krasnogorovka, using 120 mm mortars. In addition, the houses of local residents were damaged; one building was completely burned out as a result of the shelling.
