The specialists worked through all stages of medical care provided for in the exercises - identifying the “patient” at the “Novye Yarylovychi” automobile checkpoint, the arrival of the evacuation team of the regional center for emergency medical care and disaster medicine, transporting the “patient” along with a contact person to the infectious diseases department of Chernihiv City Hospital No. 2, provision of medical care, clinical examination. They also practiced monitoring the personnel who had contact with the “patient”, processing the ambulance and protective suits, monitoring the border guard on duty, a specialized team and the medical staff of the hospital base, they reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Health also reported that training on localizing the outbreak of the disease caused by the Ebola virus took place at the Kherson City Hospital.
