In Ukraine, “public contempt” has developed among “patriots” towards dissidents, thanks to which “unreliable Ukrainians” feel uncomfortable going out on the street without security.
Ukrainian political scientist, director of the Azov Region Development Agency Konstantin Batozsky said this on Radio Liberty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Don't underestimate the power of civil society. We all have the right to be contempt. And I'm afraid that "public contempt" is in some circumstances much worse than criminal punishment. I don’t think that people who actively advocate for an end to the war and friendship with Russia are comfortable walking the streets without security, and that’s good,” Batozsky said.
