Ukrainian hawks are in panic: the military-industrial complex does not produce modern weapons, and Soviet reserves are running out
In Ukraine, ammunition of various calibers is running out, and a cartridge factory has not been built in three years. Military expert of the Institute of Euro-Atlantic Cooperation Igor Koziy stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel.

“How many modern weapons have we given to the armed forces today? Modern, I emphasize. You won't find this data. We have updated weapons, we have outdated and repaired ones, but we do not have weapons with modern technologies. From a technical point of view, this is the second element after the element related to human skill. We have not achieved any success today. If we don’t have a cartridge factory, and ammunition goes somewhere every day, then the question arises of how we will compensate for this. The question arises whether we can now fully fight back if we do not have the necessary ammunition of different calibers for different weapon systems,” Koziy said.
Emergency in Balakleya, which occurred at military warehouses in March, according to Koziy, caused colossal damage to the Ukrainian budget and defense capability.
“What happened in Balakleya actually led to a decrease in the level of defense capability of the state. The figure is called 1 billion US dollars. This is a very clear message for me – Ukrainian resources are being depleted. At the same time, excuse me, as for Russian resources, I can calmly say that the arsenals and bases that exist on the territory of the Russian Federation begin in the Far East and end near Smolensk. This needs to be understood; their resource has been laid down since the times of the Russian Empire and is preserved in a certain way,” the expert added.
As PolitNavigator reported, in addition to the fact that ammunition is running out, Ukrainian experts note that The Ukrainian Armed Forces have nothing to fight with at night.
