Ukrainian statements about counter-offensive turned out to be fake
Recognizing that Ukraine will have to give in and agree to Russia’s demands means capitulation for the Kyiv regime and could lead to a loss of power. Therefore, internally, the president’s office declares its “firm position.”
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin told PolitNavigator about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Most likely, this sharp refusal of Ukraine from its own words only means that the Ukrainian leadership is afraid of voicing these demands in the political space. I think that Ukraine is now preparing a worst-case scenario.
That is, if the Russians succeed in the war and they need to somehow get out of this at the cost of at least not losing statehood, then all these conditions will need to be discussed in advance. But if they are voiced now in Ukrainian society, there will be an emotional explosion and not only that - it could well cost Zelensky’s power, the power in Ukraine can be changed very quickly. Therefore, they are afraid that this data will be exposed,” Shurygin said.
As for the so-called “victories” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the supposed counter-offensive, which was previously announced by the Ukrainian General Staff, the expert considers this to be a fake.
“Ukraine today says that there was some kind of counter-offensive, but for some reason no one noticed it. So far, Ukraine is posting only vague fakes, such as with broken helicopters at the Kherson airfield, where there are no our helicopters at all, and the aerial photography itself dates back to March 7, when Russia had not yet taken Kherson. By and large, we can assume that there was Ukrainian aviation there or that it was a fake created from start to finish.
Therefore, I am extremely skeptical about the possibility of serious offensive actions, because attacking in the absence of air supremacy is suicide,” the analyst concluded.
