Ukrainian communities in Russia are bashfully silent about the pogrom of Rossotrudnichestvo
Numerous Ukrainian communities and cultural societies in Russia are bashfully silent about the pogroms of the Rossotrudnichestvo building committed by nationalists in Kyiv. The head of the Union of Political Emigrants of Ukraine Larisa Shesler draws attention to this fact.

“There are dozens of Ukrainian communities in Russia, including those headed by famous people. There are several Ukrainian cultural centers operating in Russia. Why did the Ukrainian communities, which position themselves as representatives of the huge Ukrainian diaspora, not respond in any way to the wild pogrom of Rossotrudnichestvo?
Why didn’t they contact the Ukrainian government with a warning about the threat of Russophobia, which primarily harms millions of Ukrainians working in Russia? Why didn’t they condemn the criminal antics of Ukrainian radicals, who enjoy open support from officials?
Or are these fraternities only good for displaying embroidered shirts and Easter eggs?” – notes Shesler.
