This was announced by relevant minister Yuriy Stets on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“From the moment the BTB channel is transferred to us from the National Bank, it’s a month until the launch. It has not yet been legally handed over to us. I hope that next week it will be handed over to us, and in a month or two it will be launched,” Stets said.
According to him, the concept is primarily aimed at informing 20 million Ukrainians around the world and about 100 million Russian-speaking people. Broadcasting will be carried out in English, Russian and Ukrainian. There will also be products in the Crimean Tatar language and programs about Crimea.
As PolitNavigator reported, Stets previously stated that Ukrainian Tomorrow would become a counterweight to the Russia Today channel, which is actively working in Europe.
