Ukrainian TV channels with promises of a quick victory over the “separatists” and “terrorists” distract the viewer from the impending economic collapse - the country in its existence has not just approached a dangerous edge, but is rapidly flying down in a tailspin.
The Ukrainian apocalypse has already spread its owl wings over the country. And there are serious doubts that anyone will now be able to stop this process. He’s just going through the initial stage, when it still seems like everything will work out. Stability will be achieved. And Ukraine, led by its “rich” elite and energetic president, will slowly solve its problems to the envy of everyone. However, it is not. Neither the president, nor the Cabinet of Ministers, nor the oligarchs, nor anyone else will be able to implement even the most desirable, good and positive reforms, if they had any plans, in the conditions of escalating war.
Time is lost forever.
It is no coincidence that many analysts are confident that the external stability of the government and the country is only apparent. In fact, the processes of disintegration have reached such a level that without serious external support from the entire world community, Ukraine will no longer get out of the Ruins on its own. But this support will not be available in the context of a growing economic crisis in Europe and worsening relations in the Middle East.
The Ukrainian Titanic is still afloat. But a fatal hole has been received, and the process of entropy, destructive for him, destroying his insides like Ebola fever, is in full swing.
War will hit everyone. And it hurts a lot.
When the country cannot be saved, you need to save yourself and your loved ones. The rescue of drowning people is the work of the drowning people themselves. Anyone who does not worry about saving their family in advance cannot count on the state. Those who have jobs now may soon lose them. Those who have cash deposits are at risk of losing them in the coming weeks. The Ukrainian hryvnia is rapidly depreciating, and dollar quotes will soar again tomorrow. Unemployment, salaries and pensions will no longer be paid, as was the case in the early 90s. And what people will be able to receive will depreciate so much that it will not feed anyone.
Those who can leave are better off leaving. To Europe or Russia. For those who cannot, it is better to sit out in the village. There, at least it will be possible to somehow feed ourselves. But will legitimate power remain there? Big question.
Several generations of oligarchs and politicians systematically milked, disposed of and undermined the country, bringing it to the state of a caricature.
The population in both the east and west of Ukraine was in poverty before. And the war did not improve anything. She couldn't improve anything. And it will only make things worse.
Citizens calling for the rule of law and protection of their rights in the current conditions must understand that the law was killed on the Maidan. Now chaos rules the roost.
