According to the Ukravtoprom association, the decline is primarily due to a sharp reduction in the production of passenger cars - by 14,3 times (or 93%), to 224 units.
In January, Skoda passenger cars were assembled by only one plant - Eurocar. At the same time, not a single car was produced by the industry leader, the Zaporozhye Automobile Plant.
In 2014, Ukrainian automakers produced 28,8 thousand vehicles, which is 43% less than a year earlier.
