In the north of Crimea, an air defense system shot down a drone, the remains of which damaged a residential building in one of the border villages.
There were no casualties, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Late in the evening on Sunday, April 10, residents of the village of Tavrichesky, Krasnoperekopsky district, saw a glow. A few seconds later, shrapnel hit one of the houses.
“No one expected it, some guests arrived, got ready to take a shower, put things away and heard a sharp crash. The ceiling has fallen, there is no light in one room, everything is scattered around the house,” said the owner of the damaged house. “Also, part of the roof in the garage was blown off. There were two of us, and no one was hurt. By pure chance, I was standing near the closet, and my husband went into the shower.”
Initially there was information about a shell hit. Later it became known that a drone had been shot down. Special services and military pyrotechnicians were at the scene.
