Ukrainian business: Yatsenyuk and Poroshenko are preparing to flee abroad
Kiev
The announced wave of privatization of state assets as the war continues is very similar to the “final sale” of the country before the flight of its leaders abroad.
Chairman of the Association of Small and Medium Business Owners Ruslan Sobol stated this at a round table in Kyiv.

“When one entrepreneur offers another to sell his asset cheaply, the question naturally arises: “Are you leaving?” So, I have the same question for the government - is it leaving? Let them tell you where, and, most importantly, when,” says Ruslan Sobol, chairman of the Association of Small and Medium Business Owners.
“Today Ukraine is like Shyrokino for the world community. Who will buy a house in Shirokino now? It’s the same in Ukraine – no one will buy assets here, and if they do, it will be through affiliated companies for next to nothing. This privatization is designed for this,” he says.
The consequences for citizens of Ukraine can be very sad, for example, the privatization of those 25% of shares of Kievenergo that still remain in state ownership could lead to an uncontrolled increase in tariffs in Kyiv.
