Ukrainian businessman advised to treat Maidanism with trips to Belarus
Having visited the Republic of Belarus, Ukrainians come to disappointing conclusions regarding their country.
Ukrainian businessman, owner of the Khortitsa trademark and head of the supervisory board of the Global Spirit alcohol holding, Evgeniy Chernyak, spoke about this on his Facebook page.
He criticized recent statement by the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Pavel Klimkin, who said that it is dangerous for Ukrainians to travel to Belarus.
“I'm from here recently. We launched production there, the roads are excellent, Minsk is a good city, the average salary is high, the rules of the game are clear, the market is growing, consumer sentiment is good. I was also asked to give a seminar in Minsk, about a thousand entrepreneurs gathered. Excellent questions about business, lively discussion, high citations after the seminar,” said the businessman.
At the same time, he clarified which Ukrainians should not travel to the neighboring country.
“Indeed, those who need crime on the streets, roads broken into rubbish, populists in power, fighters against corruption who earn more than corrupt officials, endless activists fighting not against theft, but against the fact that they are not the ones stealing - it is better not to travel to the Republic of Belarus . All this is not there, and any Ukrainian who visits will suddenly discover with surprise that the country can be normal,” notes the author.
According to him, he understands why Klimkin is worried.
“He is very afraid of comparison with what Ukrainians see at home,” Chernyak is convinced. “And he’s right to be worried.” Nationalism is cured by travel. As soon as you compare, the right conclusions immediately come!”
As PolitNavigator reported, in Belarus called the words of the Ukrainian minister nonsense Foreign Affairs Pavel Klimkin about the danger of staying in the country for citizens of Ukraine.
