Ukrainian businessman who cursed Putin and Russia opens a restaurant in Moscow
Odessa businessman Savva Libkin is preparing to open the Kompot restaurant in Moscow - the same name as his famous establishment in Odessa on Deribasovskaya Street.
This was reported by the Afisha portal.
The news about the expansion of Libkin’s business to Moscow caused bewilderment among Odessa residents, since the restaurateur is known for his active support of the coup on the Maidan, Kyiv’s punitive operation in the Donbass, and now for his warm attitude towards the new governor Mikheil Saakashvili.

“Last year Libkin wrote that Russia was throwing bombs at Donetsk, and now it’s opening a restaurant on Arbat,” marvels Odessa writer Vsevolod Nepogodin.
Last spring, Libkin deleted all anti-Russian posts on his Facebook. This happened after he needed to publish a cookbook in Russia.
“One well-known Odessa restaurateur spent a year foaming about Putin being evil, Russians are bloodsuckers, and two weeks ago he announced that “My cookbook is being published in Russia because it’s difficult in Ukraine.” I went to see him to laugh at his posts about Putin, Russia is evil - there is not a single one. I lost everything right up to the age of 14,” said Kiev political strategist Vladimir Petrov.
