Ukrainian militant who blew himself up on a twin-cities tripwire was fired retroactively
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dismisses Ukrainian militants who died due to negligence retroactively, so that the dead do not spoil the statistics of non-combat losses for the JFO headquarters.
This is stated in a message from the press service of the DPR People's Militia Department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Another fact of non-combat losses was recorded by us in the 28th brigade of the VFU. During the mining of probable routes of approach to the positions of the 3rd battalion of the 28th brigade in the area of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe village of Maryinka, Sergeant Korotko, due to personal negligence, blew himself up on a tripwire installed earlier by his colleagues. Korotko died on the spot from his wounds,” the press service reported.
It is noted that brigade commander Marchenko set the task of dismissing Korotko retroactively, and also forbade the militants of the 3rd battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from disclosing this information.
In addition, earlier, during demining of the area near the second line of defense of the 72nd infantry brigade, the body of a militant of the 3rd battalion was discovered.
“It has been established that soldier Kolodyazhny has been listed in the brigade as having left his unit without permission since February 5, 2021. According to preliminary data, the cause of death of the soldier was a penetrating knife wound in the chest area.
Access of OSCE representatives accompanying mine clearance activities to this area is strictly prohibited, citing a security threat,” the department said.
