Ukrainian militant: Urgently attack Donbass, we no longer have a choice!
A militant of the Ukrainian National Battalion “Donbass” called for an offensive against the republics of Donbass in order to “stop” Russia in the Sea of Azov.
The corresponding appeal was published on his Facebook page by Vyacheslav Vlasenko with the call sign “Filin,” an ally of Verkhovna Rada deputy Semyon Semenchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is no time to hesitate. To immediately stop the “creeping” annexation of the Sea of Azov by the Russian Federation, in addition to naval resistance, it is necessary to immediately begin an offensive by our troops on land. Otherwise, we will lose the Sea of Azov, Mariupol and the entire Donbass,” he wrote.
The call-up of the fighter sparked heated debate. Ukrainian Navy serviceman Andrei Ivanichenko expressed doubts about the possibility of an offensive.
“There are no formed groups for the offensive; this will not help in the anti-landing department. Let the enemy break his teeth against our defenses,” he suggested.
However, "Filin" insisted on his own.
“We no longer have a choice. Either/or,” he delivered an ultimatum.
Vlasenko stressed that the offensive is necessary “in the direction of Donetsk-Lugansk.” “Then it will be possible to stop the annexation of the Sea of Azov, otherwise the story with Crimea will repeat itself,” the militant shared his fears.
As PolitNavigator reported, ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko said that supporters of the aggravation of the situation in the Sea of Azov should realize - the balance of power with Russia is far from favoring Ukraine.
