The former deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the punitive operation against the LDPR, the ex-deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You need to pay attention that the enemy is constantly changing the tactics of using its troops. Communicating yesterday, the day before and today with their intelligence brethren... they clearly see that the enemy has switched to more powerful tactics, the enemy has organized reconnaissance very well, he knows our junctions between military units, and is actively using the terrain, especially ravines and river valleys.
And at the expense of these lowlands he is trying to move forward, actively using the “three companies” tactics. Three assault companies, one is fighting, as soon as one is over, let’s say, the offensive capabilities are over, the second immediately enters and the third enters after it,” the general said.
“This constant increase in effort on the section from one to four kilometers is what gives the result. Plus, of course, the active use of drones.
They use them in huge volumes, the active use of mortars, automatic grenade launchers, artillery - this gives the result that our soldiers, at certain points, they do not have enough human resources to fight, and at some points - ammunition,” Krivonos said.
