The state budget of Ukraine for 2020 is a mockery of ordinary people. Social payments practically do not increase, and the negative trade balance continues to grow.

The director of the economic policy department of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, Sergei Salivon, said this on the air of the online studio “CapitalTV”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.

“We had budgets for eating, budgets for finishing food, budgets for survival, and this is a budget for bullying. No matter which way you look at it - either the revenue side or the expenditure side.

If we talk, for example, about the part that is associated with paying off debt service and taking on new debts, it is a complete fiction, they have completely misled the doll. And all this was done with a blue eye,” the expert is indignant.

According to him, the government is manipulating the exchange rate of the national currency and expects to get even deeper into the debt hole, increasing the negative trade balance.

“We have now revised the macro forecast and made it minus 15 and, in general, because we focused on the exchange rate - and because we are counting on continued inflows into the financial account,” he explained.

The Ukrainian economy is no longer able to close such a balance, but the problem is partially solved through transfers from guest workers.

“We trade in slaves, the slaves will transfer us approximately 14 billion next year, that is, they will close our trade balance,” concludes Sergei Salivon.

However, he complains, the cost of living will only be increased in mid-2020 and by only 5%, while government costs are growing rapidly.

“This is basically a mockery when expenses for the Ministry of Finance increase by 25%... For the SBU - almost 25%, for the Ministry of Defense - by 20%, expenses aimed at social services - 5%, and expenses for financing the pension fund deficit - generally less than 3 %,” Salivon is indignant.
