Ukrainian official proposed to deprive workers without registration of voting rights
In Ukraine, several million citizens work without official registration of labor relations with the employer and they should be deprived of the right to vote, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the head of the State Service for Labor Affairs Roman Chernega.
“As of today, we can talk about several million of our citizens who work outside the boundaries of official labor relations,” Chernega said, adding that in this way citizens allegedly agree that they do not have social guarantees and the rights of full members of society.
At the same time, Chernega said that in some countries only taxpayers have the right to vote in elections. “I think it would be nice to provide for us with such safeguards that would work systematically and help make Ukraine better, more economically stable, richer,” he added.
