Ukrainian MP: Our fight against unwanted pro-Russian media will be supported by the EU and the USA
Ukraine should not refute information from Russian media, but should instead focus on combating pro-Russian journalists and publications that continue to work in Ukraine.
This was stated on Channel 5 by Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Tymchuk, one of the main coordinators of propaganda in support of the so-called. ATO - punitive operation in Donbass.

“I don’t see any point in working for a Russian audience at all. These are absolute zombies... There is nothing to talk about with these people now. After the destruction of the Putin regime, it will still be a long time before this society has a chance to become normal and civilized.
For us, another task is, first of all, to neutralize Russian propaganda on our territory. Neutralize all translators - like “Strana.UA” and other Russian resources.
The second task is simplified for us by the fact that the EU and the US have begun to understand that Russia is an information aggressor for them too,” Tymchuk said.
Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities announced the introduction of strict censorship on the Internet. In particular, officials plan to ban access of Internet users to media that supported the Russian Spring and criticized the regime that came to power in Kyiv as a result of a coup. Such plans are already voiced by the Minister of Information of Ukraine Yuriy Stets.
